Coordinates

Events exist or do not exist in a given situation or in any situation. The latter can be clearly given or presupposed (clear from the context).

It can be given:

  1. by reference to a region of space,
  2. by reference to time,
  3. by listing a set of events,
  4. by a combination of 1)-3).

We will say that the coordinates of an event are given if 1)—4) are used to give the situation in which it exists. If, for some reason, the coordinates are indifferent, the fixing of this circumstance is a special case of the fixing of the coordinates.
